A glow sign board β also called an LED backlit board or illuminated signage β is the single most cost-effective branding investment a retail shop, clinic, cafe or office can make. It runs 12 hours a day, costs ~βΉ300/month in electricity, and gives your storefront night-time visibility from 100 metres away.
Construction
A glow sign is built in three layers:
- The frame β aluminium box (50β100mm deep) bolted to the wall.
- The light source β LED modules or strips inside the box, wired to a power supply.
- The face β a translucent acrylic / flex sheet with your logo, company name and visuals printed on it. Light passes through and glows.
Face material β flex vs acrylic vs ACM
- Flex (PVC) face β economical, lightweight, can be replaced cheaply when branding changes. Standard choice.
- Acrylic face (3D letters) β premium look, each letter is a separate raised acrylic block lit from within. Pharma showrooms, banks, jewellery stores.
- ACM with cut-out + acrylic infill β modern flat-panel look with raised letters.
